Shame on you McCall's!!

Your version came out great and your daughter seems so pleased. :)Meiganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14369299181385050668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849063738416974226.post-78824988359218519522014-01-12T18:17:14.846-06:002014-01-12T18:17:14.846-06:00Thanks, Kristine! She tolerates me sewing for her, but it has to be her way!Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07021958528271756631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849063738416974226.post-84659326460155917822014-01-12T17:02:44.742-06:002014-01-12T17:02:44.742-06:00Great dress, of course your daughter is thrilled! ...Great dress, of course your daughter is thrilled! Isn't it nice that they are still tolerating us sewing for them??? I made this one up last month for my 10 yr old! The peplum top version, to wear for the Christmas concert. I have similar complaints with McCalls (or Simplicity or Butterick) about their instructions when working with such small seams already. I modify all the time, too!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08126043161321731207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849063738416974226.post-11728735911580577382014-01-12T14:42:52.969-06:002014-01-12T14:42:52.969-06:00Thanks, Wendy! It's a shame, too, because they have had some really cute ones for kids.Shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07021958528271756631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4849063738416974226.post-40862792308862901652014-01-12T14:00:40.206-06:002014-01-12T14:00:40.206-06:00this is really cute!
I definitely think their kid...this is really cute!
I definitely think their kids patterns are short & wide. My nieces are a tall stringbeans, so I ended up sewing with not that many McCalls for them because it's such a pain to correct.wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02325131782150858859noreply@blogger.com
